About People with CCD

Tammy Jo O'Dell would like to add her information to help others.


We are a family of 12 people with positive CCD. My mother was first diagnosed in 1957 and to out knowledge, she was the seventh person with CCD. She had me in 1966 and I also have CCD. She had one child with out CCD. Then in 1968 she gave birth to twin boys with CCD. We are eager to take part in any CCD studies that would benifit others with our condition.


The severity of our condition very from person to person. Our major difficulty has been dential and finding knowledgeable physicians and oral surgeons.


mom is 53 and 5' tall,no clavicals and minor leg pain, lots of headaches and migraines, her softspot is still open


tammy Jo is 35 and 4' 10" tall. She has 2 kids with CCD. So in my family we are hitting 100%. The only one of us who had kids with CCD is Wendy.


Wendy is 34 and 5' 4" tall, she also has CCD, she has 1 child with CCD out of 3. She has teeth problems and some minor aches and pains but not like the rest of us. she has a very mild case.


Brent and Bryan are 33 and 5' 2" tall, Brent has 1 boy age 5 with CCD and 1 girl due to be born in July. Bryan has 3 daughters; 5, 11, & 12 years old. he is expecting a boy in Auguest with CCD.
